| Upon waking Monday morning, I will be living in the United Kingdom. Without exception, before I go to stay in some new place for any length of time, I inevitably find myself perusing concert calendars. This is before I know where I'll live, where to eat or what classes to take. My priorities are in order.
I've merely checked two venues in Nottingham (or Notts, as we locals call it...) This is what my search has returned...
AMERICAN MUSIC CLUB - one of my favorite bands ever, the man pictured to the left of this text is the group frontman, Mark Eitzel
WILCO - when me and Tweedy are kicking it slamdiggity, you will know what is up; suck it southeast US, they are coming UK, too
THE GO! TEAM - i've never actually heard their music, but people whom i respect like them and a lot at that
MARK KOZELEK - wtf? Eitzel and Kozelek during the same stay, i can chalk off two of my top tens that i've never seen live
SPIN DOCTORS - i don't think i really have to tag this one, there greatness speaks to the ages; pocketful of kryptonite
ETC: Adam Green The Fall Blood Brothers Mates of State
